If you liked Sonic Boon® Dynamic Range Volume I you're going to love Volume II. Developed in partnership with Ken J. Johnson this brand new collection of gun recordings delivers the outstanding quality and variety our clients have come to expect.

This new two disc library of over 1,950 sounds features a diverse collection of weapons strategically chosen to deliver the biggest sounds possible. By recording a full range of bores, barrel lengths and powder charges in a wide variety of environments, we were able to create the greatest reports. To ensure the cleanest sounds possible, all interior shots were fired in a sound stage, thereby enhancing the warmth of the shot and avoiding the metallic brightness of an interior gun range.

The library also features a comprehensive collection of spent shell drops. We recorded over 540 spent shells in 18 different sizes from .22 calibre to 20mm Anti Aircraft on six surfaces (marble, concrete, wood, hard packed dirt, gravel and metal). Each shell drop was recorded at 48 kHz, 24-bit in dual mono with the left side recorded tight, and the right side at a medium distance (6 to 10 feet).
