After 25 years of working in the film business as a sound editor and
foley artist, Gary saw the need for a custom foley facility. His innovative
design features, technical expertise and creative focus have combined
to create an array of world-class foley stages.
Foley Arts is situated just minutes away from Toronto's production
facilities, in a quiet residential area of downtown Toronto.

the Foley performance or Sound Effects creation.

- 8 ceiling and wall (permanently positioned), microphone shock
mounts, for precise perspective re-performance for consistent
week-to-week quality.

- Main stage can be divided into smaller areas by our track
mounted hanging baffles.

- 20 static floor surfaces -- plus of course anything you'd
like us to create.

- 7 dynamically tunable floor surfaces. All seven 4X6 panels
have different floor surfaces mounted on both sides. These panels
can be secured over "pits" or "cisterns"
that can be "tuned" by the inclusion / exclusion of
acoustically absorbent materials within the pit.

- All recordings are performed to our 24 bit Digital Audio
Workstation (Pro-Tools).

- Video projection and roll-around video monitors.
